Brief description of work
A tailored automatic door design and installation for a new accessible entrance door set to a busy showroom in Bicester.
What we did
We sent an engineer to site to carry out a risk assessment and survey, gathering information to allow us to design the automatic door set using the correct type of automation to suit the application of the building and the way the door would be used.
Once the design had been completed and the quotation accepted, a final site survey was carried out to check the measurements and a new screen and Bi-parting automatic door set to the showroom entrance was installed.
The automation on the door was by using a Slide operator with sensor monitoring which means it is equipped with both a combination of motion and presence detectors that trigger the opening and closing of the automatic door.
Once the installation was complete, we carried out safety checks in line with BS/EN16005 to ensure the entrance doors were fully tested and safe.
